How is this file organized?

Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon is a fairly linear game, in the sense that you will automatically switch locations (and characters) as you progress through the game, sometimes returning to places that you have visited before.  This file is arranged according to your travels, and these sections are described in the hints that follow.  The "first" and "second" visits to a location refer to these automatic "switches."  Some brief descriptions are listed here to help you determine which section you currently need help with.
