The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Get a key to Nerano Manor's upstairs door.
1 of 7: In this, Habasi's second thiefly quest, you need to steal a key from one of two people.
2 of 7: Ondres Nerano himself, who lives in Nerano Manor, is bound to have one on him.
3 of 7: You can try picking his pocket, but don't kill him, or you won't be rewarded for the quest.
4 of 7: A better target is Sovor Trandel, who's hanging out at the Council Club.
5 of 7: It's perfectly okay to kill him, and doing so is even part of a quest. Once he's dead, raid his body to get the key.
6 of 7: Then go turn the key in to Habasi to complete the quest and get 500 bucks.
7 of 7: This doesn't mean you can't loot the upper floor of Nerano Manor yourself, of course. You don't even need the key. Just go right in the front door and on up the stairs.
