Schizm Hints

I can't figure out how to apply the information to the navigation controls.

  • 1 of 12: When you apply the gold disc to the blue control sphere, you will see that you can highlight one of three symbols that match the three symbols on the steering handle in the cockpit.
  • 2 of 12: Click on each of these three symbols on the blue sphere.
  • 3 of 12: For each one, two other symbols will light up -- one from the top "arc" of symbols, and one from the bottom.
  • 4 of 12: Make note of all three sets of three symbols.
  • 5 of 12: Return to the airship cockpit, and set all three sets of symbols into the controls:
  • 6 of 12: The left steering wheel has three positions, and represents the three symbols you clicked on, on the blue control sphere.  Set this wheel first.
  • 7 of 12: The symbols along the top arc can be used to select the matching symbol from the top arc on the blue control sphere.
  • 8 of 12: The symbols on the right handle can be set to match the symbol from the bottom arc on the blue control sphere.
  • 9 of 12: Do this for all three sets of coordinates; the control panel will "remember" each setting that you have made.
  • 10 of 12: When you have correctly entered all three sets of coordinates, press the blue button in the middle of the steering column.
  • 11 of 12: If you have entered the coordinates correctly, you will be taken on a ride to a new location.  If you have not entered correct coordinates, either nothing will happen (CD-ROM version), or you will be taken on a ride to nowhere (DVD version) -- usually the middle of the ocean.
  • 12 of 12: Once you have entered correct coordinates, they will be "stored" in one of the buttons at the lower left of the navigation console.  You can use these buttons later to quickly return to a location without entering all of the coordinates.  Just press the button with the "stored" information, and then the "Launch" button in the middle of the console.
