The 11th Hour Hints
Rules
of 11: You're trying to move from the bottom left to the top right corner of the cube.
of 11: You're not allowed to move to a die that you've already moved on before, nor can you move off the cube.
of 11: If you played (and understood all of the puzzles in) The 7th Guest, this puzzle should seem somewhat familiar.
of 11: In particular, I'm referring to the dollhouse puzzle in T7G.
of 11: Basically, the moves you make assign the rules to the puzzle each time you play it.
of 11: Each number has (or will have) a direction assigned to it.
of 11: After you pick the 4 above or to the right of the bottom left corner, whatever direction you move from a number will determine what direction is assigned to the number.
of 11: In other words, if you're on the 4 and you move up, any time you land on the 4 space in the future, you will automatically be sent up a square.
of 11: You can only assign each direction to a single number. So once 4 means "up," no other die can.
of 11: If there are no valid moves -- either a number that's already been assigned will make you cross your path or send you off the die, or all possible directions from an unassigned number have already been given to other numbers -- you lose.
of 11: Also, be careful on the top face of the cube -- you need to think of the cube being oriented so that the "goal" is in the top-right corner of this face.
