Gameplay Tips
Click on the Resume button on the Main Menu to see the history behind Ay-Sayf and some great screenshots of the previous game in this series, "The Legend of the Prophet and Assassin."
Ay-Sayf can die often in this game. Saying that you should save often is an understatement. You can save even while in the midst of completing a puzzle.
There are books and inscriptions scattered about, so look for them and study them carefully. Clues to the many puzzles are sometimes presented in the form of a riddle. Copying them down may help you solve a later puzzle.
There is one cursor not described in the Arxel Tribe game manual that you will come across several times. (It is included in the Dreamcatcher manual.) It features an arrow and some lines and symbols below it. Similar to a "grab and drag" cursor, it works best if you work with it slowly and evenly.
Always talk to characters about all topics the first time you meet them because you might not get another chance. There are several times when the wrong answer can end your game prematurely. Just use your best judgment and common sense. When in doubt, save your game before answering.
