How can I cross the Acid Pools Cave?
1 of 14: Not all of the pools contain acid. You can walk in some of them.
2 of 14: Wouldn't it help to know which ones have acid and which ones don't?
3 of 14: At the beginning of the pools, turn around and look down.
4 of 14: Use those 3 stones by throwing one into a suspect pond. If it hisses, it has acid in it.
5 of 14: Actually, five of the twelve pools contain acid.
6 of 14: I'll save you some trouble and tell you the first few moves.
7 of 14: Go left once into the first pool there.
8 of 14: Walk forward into the 2nd pool on the left side.
9 of 14: Then turn to your right and walk forward once. This puts you in the center of the room facing the right wall.
10 of 14: It might be a good idea to use one of those stones now.
11 of 14: The pool directly ahead, along the right wall, contains acid.
12 of 14: The one to your left, with a direct beeline to the door, does not.
13 of 14: Face the door and walk forward once.
