The Secrets of Alamut Hints

Sun Disk Puzzle

  • 1 of 5: Carefully examine the sun disk. Notice that each of the 21 rays has tiny numerals engraved into it. Going clockwise, they begin at the 1 o'clock position with the Roman numeral I (1). The very top center ray is not numbered.
  • 2 of 5: Two books in the library include the answer to this puzzle.
  • 3 of 5: One shows a diagram of the sun disk.
  • 4 of 5: Return to the sun disk on the wall and click on each ray only once in the proper order.
  • 5 of 5: When this is done successfully, you will be able to remove the top center ray (the gold key). The solution is spelled out in another book, too.
