The Secrets of Alamut Hints
How do I get further into the mines?
1 of 15: The mineshaft in the center of the cave is your objective.
2 of 15: The lift was operated using the waterwheel, which is not working. To make matters worse, the lift platform is missing.
3 of 15: Find the replacement wood platform here in the room and attach it to the loose end of the rope at the top of the shaft.
4 of 15: While you're working with the pieces for the waterwheel, some of them need to be combined before they can be attached to it.
5 of 15: Find some rope near the door.
6 of 15: A jug sits on the floor.
7 of 15: Combine it in inventory with the rope and attach the combination to the waterwheel.
8 of 15: Water from the waterwheel needs to go somewhere.
9 of 15: The miners built the troth to hold the water.
10 of 15: The scaffolding was used to direct the water from the waterwheel into the troth.
11 of 15: Pick up a gutter piece and use it on the scaffolding.
12 of 15: The scaffolding is in the wrong place, though.
13 of 15: It can be moved if you approach it from the other side.
14 of 15: Once you have everything ready, release the rope tied to a wall peg to start the water wheel.
