Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine Hints
This cryptic note is confusing me. How can I solve it?
1 of 6: Do you remember anybody in the game so far talking about a love for cryptography?
2 of 6: The geek at the Post Office said he loved it.
3 of 6: Maybe he'd know more?
4 of 6: Show him the sheet a couple of times and he will tell you it is a Caesar Cipher.
5 of 6: Each of the letters is moved backward four times to spell the real letter, so an Q would become an M or a B would be an X.
6 of 6: The note is randomized with each game, so solve yours. In this instance, mine was the phrase Open Sesame. (Again, though, that may not work for you, so you may have to solve this puzzle for yourself.)
