Alone in the Dark 3 Hints
So how do I get out of this place?
1 of 7: Once you've killed Stone, the door in the room should have unlocked.
2 of 7: You need to hop on the train to make your way out of here. Go towards the front, and walk into the ladder to climb it.
3 of 7: You need to start the train's engine.
4 of 7: There was a sack of coal back in the room with Stone. Use it on the furnace of the train.
5 of 7: And then use the matches (from the room just before the skull room) to light the coal.
6 of 7: Finally, push the lever that's to the right of the furnace to start the train.
7 of 7: That was an anti-climactic puzzle, wasn't it?
