Alone in the Dark 3 Hints
How do I kill the gunner standing out on this level?
1 of 8: Did you read the posters in the sheriff's office?
2 of 8: Then you should have noticed that there's one character who can only be killed by a gold bullet.
3 of 8: You're looking at him here.
4 of 8: But before you kill him, you might be able to steal his gold.
5 of 8: You can whip it out of his hands.
6 of 8: Just stand in the same room as him and use the whip (from further back in this chapter) until you get a bag of gold. You can use the bag to load your shotgun.
7 of 8: Now, time to use the gold bullet -- it will be loaded into your Winchester from the gun case in the sheriff's office.
8 of 8: Then fire the gun at the ghost, and if your aim is correct, you should be able to kill him. You might want to save the game before you try this or use a regular bullet first and reload without moving to make sure that you hit him.
