How do I open the door that the gunman closed?
1 of 9: It's operated by a machine.
2 of 9: The machine should be looming over a wall near the door.
3 of 9: When you reach the machine, you should learn that it's missing a gear.
4 of 9: Use something that's shaped kind of like a gear.
5 of 9: Use the sheriff's badge.
6 of 9: Now all you need to do is pull that lever that's up high on the machine.
7 of 9: Something in your inventory will help you reach it from the ground.
8 of 9: Try the whip.
9 of 9: Just use the whip while you're next to the machine, and Carnby will automatically figure out how to use the whip. The door will then be open.
