Alone in the Dark 3 Hints
How do I unlock the doors in here?
1 of 15: You'll have to take care of them one at a time.
2 of 15: The key to the first door will come from fighting the monsters that appeared when you first entered the room.
3 of 15: Use it on the door to the left on the first floor (i.e., the one further from where you entered).
4 of 15: When you're in the library, take a look at the books. They'll give you an idea of how to open the next door.
5 of 15: The pocket watch that one of the books mentioned should be helpful.
6 of 15: It's hidden in the library.
7 of 15: Search the statue and you'll find it.
8 of 15: For some reason (I don't understand why) the pocket watch only works on the other door on the first floor.
9 of 15: The doors on the second floor will have to wait until later. You should be able to open one from the other side.
10 of 15: If you get into the kitchen (as will happen if you solve the puzzles in this section), you can go around the cabinet (the side panel is fake) to open the third door.
11 of 15: The fourth will have to be opened with fire power.
12 of 15: Bullets do not necessarily have to be fired from a gun.
13 of 15: Any strong force might be able to get them to explode.
14 of 15: Put the 30/30 bullet from the bedroom above the saloon and put it in the lock.
15 of 15: Then use the hammer (search the fat man in the ballroom) to set off the bullet. The ballroom will appear when you fix the mechanism in the kitchen.
