Alone in the Dark 4: The New Nightmare Hints
I'm now in the main part of the second floor, but where do I go?
of 11: Only a few doors will be unlocked the first time that you're on the main hallway -- if you explore, you should find them quickly enough.
of 11: One of them is the door just to the east of the one from the large spiral staircase. Go through that to enter Alan Morton's office.
of 11: Or, if you go west along the main hallway for a bit, you should eventually reach a large bedroom.
of 11: It's the one at the corner, where the hallway starts to turn to the northwest, just to the west of the double doors.
of 11: You'll need to find something to do in these two rooms before you can proceed.
of 11: Do you remember what happened not too long before you found your way to the second floor?
of 11: Decerto asked you to find a mirror.
of 11: And it just so happens that there's a large mirror sitting on a table in Alan's office, in front of the desk.
of 11: Take that and go into the bedroom.
of 11: Walk to the far end of the room (past the bed), and you'll automatically come across a mirror where Decerto is waiting for you.
of 11: If you've survived your encounter with Decerto, head back to the hallway, and on the way, you'll run into Edenshaw. After that conversation is finished, many of the doors that had been locked or otherwise impassable will now be unlocked.
