How do I get out of the basement?
1 of 7: Don't worry about the doors proper -- there's no way to unlock these.
2 of 7: But you can go up through the trap door at the top of the ladder.
3 of 7: You just need the right item to "unlock" the trap door.
4 of 7: Look on the second floor.
5 of 7: There was an allen wrench on the desk in the Alan's bedroom, where you were trapped earlier in the game.
6 of 7: You can get back to that bedroom via the eastern door on the second floor of the lobby, if you need to go back and get that allen wrench.
7 of 7: When you climb the ladder, Aline will use the allen wrench automatically, and you'll now be in the Greenhouse.
