Where is Alan?
1 of 4: Start by looking for a second screen inside the lab.
2 of 4: Head away from the "front door" to the lab, and when the path forks, take the branch that's straight ahead and not the one to your right.
3 of 4: This will take you into the room where Alan is.
4 of 4: Just keep walking along the path and you should see him eventually. He'll talk to you briefly and then lock you inside the lab.
