Can you help me with the controls?
For most control issues, please consult the manual that came with your game. I've tried to provide PC users a little advice throughout the hints to help them out where the controls are the least obvious. However, I haven't played and do not plan to play other versions of the game, so please don't ask me for help with the controls on other platforms. I have listed generic equivalent in places (for example, "action" in addition to "SPACE"), but I make no guarantees that the equivalent keys will work on other systems.
There is also one very non-intuitive thing I discovered about the PC version -- the "flashlight" key ("S" if you haven't remapped it) also backs you out of certain menus and close-up views when other more logical keys (like ESC) do not. I'm sure this has something to do with how the game was ported from the PSX, for whatever that's worth to PC users. I know it doesn't make a lot of sense on the PC, but that's how it is.
