Alone in the Dark 4: The New Nightmare Hints
How do I get out of the attic?
of 9: The door downstairs is fairly close to Lucy Morton's bedroom.
of 9: It's the locked one at the opposite end of the same hall that leads to Lucy's room.
of 9: Of course, you're going to need to find a key, so keep exploring.
of 9: There's another unlocked door down a side hallway from here -- go through it and see what's there.
of 9: As you're going through that door, head straight and then turn left at the end of the room to walk through a very narrow passage.
of 9: In the next room, only one door will be unlocked. Go through it to enter a "screaming hallway." (That's what it's called when you save your game there, and, well, you'll hear some screaming when you walk through it the first time.)
of 9: The room at the other end of that hallway has your key.
of 9: It's on a table near the entrance to the room.
of 9: Use that Small Gilded Key (not the one Lucy gave you) to unlock the door.
