What do LifeFlower Petals do?
1 of 8: Until you find the Elementor, not much.
2 of 8: Once you do find it, notice the icons on the Elementor menu.
3 of 8: One of them looks like a LifeFlower Petal.
4 of 8: Pick up a beetle and drop it on this icon.
5 of 8: If you have any unused petals, the beetle will gain one level.
6 of 8: Note, however, that you'll never have two bugs of the same color and the same pattern in your inventory. This means it's impossible to get two level 7 beetles of the same color, among other things.
7 of 8: Once you've found a LifeFlower plant, its petals will regrow over time, including any time you leave and re-enter that map area.
8 of 8: If you really want to pick up some petals, you can get them on Sender Station not too far from the Routubes entrance. You can enter and then leave the Routubes to force the plant to grow a new petal.
