Anachronox Hints
But I can't unlock the doors in the hallway!
1 of 9: You will run into four locked doors, each with a control panel that has four colored buttons. You must enter the correct sequence of four colors to unlock the door.
2 of 9: You may have been watching the receptionist when she entered the combinations. If you remembered those or happened to write them down, just enter those codes again. However, remember that the last code she entered on the way to the lab is the first code that you need to enter on the way back.
3 of 9: If you didn't get the codes from before, the game is fortunately somewhat kind here -- as soon as you enter a wrong color, the panel will "vanish" to let you know of your mistake.
4 of 9: That means you can get the codes you missed using trial and error -- just keep guessing until you figure out what each code is. You may lose some valuable time, but you can always restore and try again, and the codes will still be the same after you restore.
5 of 9: I think that the codes may be randomized from game to game, as many of the puzzle solutions are, but if you want to know the codes that I entered, read ahead.
