Anachronox Hints

Where can I find some MysTech?

  • 1 of 15: Well, it's a little too late to get it once the battle has started, but you can get some on the ship if you restore to a saved game before the battle.
  • 2 of 15: You can find a few pieces sitting on the ground of the Hive -- just look carefully.
  • 3 of 15: For example, one piece of FireSpire was right next to your ship where you landed.  Or, there was a NutsWalker in a chest in the main security room.
  • 4 of 15: There are also a few more hidden pieces.
  • 5 of 15: You may remember a room with several pulsating gems shortly after the main security room.
  • 6 of 15: Touch these gems, and another piece of MysTech will fall onto the floor below you.
  • 7 of 15: You'll have to go around to get it.
  • 8 of 15: Specifically, go back to the main part of the Hive, where your ship is, and then take the formerly locked door at the top of the ramp.  You should be on the lower level of that room shortly.
  • 9 of 15: Finally, one piece of MysTech is available fairly close to the Queen.
  • 10 of 15: As you're facing the door into her chamber, turn to the left and take the hall in that direction.
  • 11 of 15: You'll reach a fork shortly.  Take the right branch to find a once-locked door that leads into a room with another machine.
  • 12 of 15: Notice the slots on the machine.
  • 13 of 15: If you have any extra hive shards on you, you can put those in the slots.
  • 14 of 15: Put one shard of each color in the computer, and you'll get a pretty nice piece of MysTech that way.
  • 15 of 15: And yes, you can summon the drones to get extra copies of the hive shards, just by touching the same crystals as before.
