How do I kill the Magmatos boss?
1 of 9: As always, you don't necessarily need to kill any of the smaller creature that this boss summons, although you may have to do so if they get in your line of sight to the boss.
2 of 9: Mainly, you can use whatever attacks you prefer -- there don't seem to be any particular restrictions. The boss has around 14,000 or so HP, if that helps you at all.
3 of 9: A special "attack" can do a couple thousand points of damage if you look for it.
4 of 9: Do you remember the cut-scene before the fight started?
5 of 9: Some sort of hand picked a worker and dumped him into the lava.
6 of 9: You can control a similar force.
7 of 9: There are two consoles in the corners of the battle area. Either one of those will raise a hand on either side of the boss.
8 of 9: Get the hands up on both sides at the same time, and you do an automatic 2,000 HP of damage to the boss.
9 of 9: Over time, the hands will lower again, and you can then repeat this "attack." Beyond that, it's just a matter of choosing your favorite attacks and healing as necessary.
