Anachronox Hints
How can I get into El Puno's cell?
of 15: There's a keypad next to the cell. Find the right combination, and you can lower the forcefield into the cell.
of 15: Talk to some of your fellow prisoners -- one of them might know it.
of 15: Hmm ... if they do know anything, they're not talking.
of 15: You're going to have to get the information out of them another way.
of 15: Mind reading might work.
of 15: Talk to Headwork, the superhero with the ability to read minds. He'll offer to lend you his mind-reading powers when you talk to him.
of 15: Then click on to Hush-Hush, who's standing near the "Emergency Parole Button" to see what he knows.
of 15: While he doesn't quite know the whole combination, he does seem to remember at least part of it.
of 15: Notice that if you keep reading his mind, you'll see that he always thinks the combination starts with the same first two digits. That gives you the first part of the combination. (The specific digits are randomly chosen from game to game, so I can't tell you what they are.)
of 15: No one else seems to know the other half of the combination, though.
of 15: At least no one whom you can see.
of 15: Hush-Hush also mentioned something about InvisoLad.
of 15: Once you've found InvisoLad, click in the area where he's standing, and keep clicking to read his thoughts. (You may have to move the cursor around a bit to find out exactly where InvisoLad is.)
of 15: He'll eventually keep thinking about a two-digit number.
of 15: Those are the last two digits of the combination (again, randomly chosen each game). Put the digits together, and you can unlock El Puno's cell with the resulting four-digit combination.
