Anachronox Hints
I'm lost in the Waugee Forest. Can you tell me where to go?
1 of 3: The forest can be a little disorienting, especially if you lose track of where you were heading after a battle, but it really isn't all that big. I don't know if this was intentional, but I noticed that many of the waugees "respawned" if I accidentally retraced my path even a bit. Ordinarily, creatures stay dead at least until you leave the entire map area and return, but new waugees would reappear at a battle point sometimes literally seconds later. If the same thing happens to you for whatever reason, then don't get too confused by this.
2 of 3: Basically, there are only two real forks in the path. If you take the "wrong" branch at either fork, all you'll do is go down a loop that takes you to the other fork, so there isn't all that much land to cover here.
3 of 3: As you're facing when you're initially going through this area, take the left branch at both of the forks and you'll be fine. The only dead end is at the very start of the level, so if you end up there again, just turn around and take the next two left turns.
