Ankh Hints
Sharpen the tailor's scissors.
1 of 9: Get this added to your to-do list by talking to the tailor in the bazaar until he hands over his blunt scissors. (Note that his stall is in the bazaar area near your home, a ways down the road from Fatima's.)
2 of 9: He mentions that he often goes to the Nile to sharpen them, so maybe you should, too.
3 of 9: In the old days, metal tools and weapons were often sharpened on whetstones.
4 of 9: Maybe there's some sort of stone near the Nile that you could use to sharpen the scissors.
5 of 9: Look on the river bank a bit to the left of the ferry to find a large moist stone with green streaks on it.
6 of 9: Examine it to learn that it's covered with scrape marks.
7 of 9: That must be the stone that the tailor uses.
8 of 9: Use the scissors on the stone to resharpen them.
9 of 9: Then go give them to the tailor to get a nifty cursed needle. (As if Assil needed more curses!)
