Escape!

  • 1 of 12: You get this task right after finishing the "Block the persecutors' path" one.
  • 2 of 12: There's only one way to go.
  • 3 of 12: Run left along the rubble-y corridor until you come to one of the towers.
  • 4 of 12: You can't enter the bridge, and standing in the dark corner does you no good, so look around for something else.
  • 5 of 12: Run to the right of the barred bridge exit until you find a strange-looking window.
  • 6 of 12: Right-click on it to go through it and emerge on a wooden scaffolding just outside of a large statue.
  • 7 of 12: Now Thara needs your help.
  • 8 of 12: Look around for something you could use to rescue her.
  • 9 of 12: There's some rope at the left end of your part of the scaffolding.
  • 10 of 12: So pick it up.
  • 11 of 12: That'll trigger a cut-scene in which you and Thara barely manage to escape the palace.
  • 12 of 12: After a short conversation with Thara, Chapter Four: The Sun of Cairo will begin.
