Ankh Hints
Help the genie to get back his lamp.
1 of 13: Get this task by talking to the retired genie who's standing around on the upper part of the "treasure of the desert" oasis that you followed a map to back in Chapter One.
2 of 13: After talking to the genie, go down to the camp area and look around for the dropped lamp.
3 of 13: It's floating in the water near the waterfalls.
4 of 13: However, Assil can't reach it.
5 of 13: And you don't have anything in inventory to reach it with.
6 of 13: It's not at all obvious, but you'll need someone else's help with this rather than some new inventory item.
7 of 13: Specifically, you need the help of the slave in the bazaar's plaza area.
9 of 13: After the slave master is out cold, take the bunch of keys from his waist.
10 of 13: Use them on the slave to free him.
11 of 13: When he offers to do you a return favor, ask him to "dive a little bit."
12 of 13: A cut-scene will take over in which he returns the lamp to the genie and gives you his old used-up time machine. (Hey, how'd H.G. Wells get in here?)
13 of 13: Then you can ask the genie for a reward and find out who's kidnapped the Pharaoh's daughter.
