How can I use the strange construction to enter the underworld?

  • 1 of 17: Maybe it has a control panel nearby.
  • 2 of 17: There's a pillar to the right of the strange construction that has a big red button on it.
  • 3 of 17: But you can only examine the button, not press it.
  • 4 of 17: Besides, you probably have to be on the thing's platform when the button is pressed.
  • 5 of 17: So who can you get to press the button for you?
  • 6 of 17: The mummies in this game seem to be a pretty lively bunch, so maybe the one entombed here will help you.
  • 7 of 17: However, if you try the sarcophagus, you'll encounter the same "examine-only" problem you had with the red button.
  • 8 of 17: What might you be able to do to get the mummy to arise on his own?
  • 9 of 17: How about stealing some of his treasure? That usually ticks mummies off enough to become animate.
  • 10 of 17: But you can't take any of the fine pottery, statuary, or gold coins.
  • 11 of 17: So take the mummy's baseball stuff!
  • 12 of 17: You'll find it on a stone slab near where you entered the tomb area.
  • 13 of 17: After you take it, the mummy will shamble over and talk to you.
  • 14 of 17: Talk to him until he explains what the strange construction and red button are for.
  • 15 of 17: After he goes over to the button and starts trying it out, get onto the strange construction.
  • 16 of 17: Still doesn't work! What could be wrong now?
  • 17 of 17: It turns out to be really simple. Instead of just standing on the construction, you need to right-click on it to get yourself teleported.
