General Hints
1 of 4: The usual hints for point-and-click adventures also fit this game, so get everything you can pick up, try to use every hotspot in every scene, try every conversation line and try to combine every inventory item with every other if you're stuck. Even if you can't see the sense behind it, it might push forward the story and new interaction options may develop.
2 of 4: Look everywhere, and use the "show hotspots" function of the game (X on the PC version).
3 of 4: Remember that a scene might not fit on one screen, so walk around to see if the scene changes, especially in areas that look like exits, but don't have the gate icon.
4 of 4: Although it's only possible in the first chapter: make use of the two actors system. It saves you from walking miles to get an object if you do so with a partner who's in a nearer room. Also some actions can only be done by Assil, others only by Thara, so when one of them refuses a special action, this might only mean that the other character should try it again.
