Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Hints
General Investigative Advice...
This game may have a new lead character, but it's still a Phoenix Wright adventure game through and through. And the key with any adventure title is to be thorough and pay attention to detail. There's no point in the game's investigation stages at which you can lose the game, miss a clue, or fail to find something you need. So do not worry, do not feel like you're going to put a foot wrong, and just enjoy the game.
You have four tools at your disposal during the investigative stage of the game, Talk, Move, Present, and Examine:
* Talk will allow you to speak to any character or suspect in the vicinity, and you should ask every character every available question at all times to learn as much as possible.
* The Move tool will allow you to move to any location adjacent to your present one -- be sure to check out every location available to you.
* Present will allow you to show a character in your vicinity any item that's held in your Court Record, or to present the profile of any other character to ask their opinion of them. This can prove vital in many places, as you will need to ask a character about a particular item to learn more about it.
* Finally, the Examine tool allows you to look at your surroundings and find evidence, clues, and other items. Make sure to examine everything you can in each room, even if it looks like it might not be too useful, as sometimes key clues can be concealed within other objects.
Also be sure to pay attention to what Trucy has to say -- and she usually says a lot. She will have invaluable insight into the characters and clues, and most other things you will interact with. She's your sidekick, your Maya -- don't forget that.
