Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Hints

Spark's First Testimony: The Journalist's Story

  • 1 of 13: This guy's a journalist right? He must have a wealth of useful information for us!
  • 2 of 13: Make sure to press him to get as much of that information to surface as possible.
  • 3 of 13: There's one particular point you need to clarify.
  • 4 of 13: Ask him about the moment of death -- press his statement regarding the star falling.
  • 5 of 13: Now, you will have a chance to ask him a follow-up question.
  • 6 of 13: Asking about his coffee is pretty useless, so ask about the victim's coffee instead.
  • 7 of 13: The Judge will then ask whether you found the testimony to be of any use.
  • 8 of 13: Saying yes will add that line to the testimony -- and create a clear, textbook contradiction in the process.
  • 9 of 13: Brushel states that Drew Misham fell to the ground immediately after taking a sip of his coffee.
  • 10 of 13: The fact that this was immediate causes a contradiction with something we already know.
  • 11 of 13: Atroquinine is a slow-acting poison -- it would not cause him to fall to the ground instantly.
  • 12 of 13: Present an item that describes that fact.
  • 13 of 13: The Coffee Mug is the correct item -- present it at the revised line of testimony.
