1 of 2: Follow Ruhndal along to the courtyard area where the two holy guardians (fire golems) are stomping around.
2 of 2: Fortunately, they can't throw rapid-fire fireballs at you like the fire golems in Gothic III could, so you can treat them pretty much like you would stone golems. You can even damage them with your fire-based weapons and spells.
