Arcania: Gothic 4 Hints
Catch up with Hagen's spy before he sets foot in the temple
1 of 10: Hang back after opening the barred gate and lure the first prowler back to you, then go through the gate and used ranged attacks to lure in the second one.
2 of 10: Enter their room and kill all the cave crawlers, then go over to the entrance to the next room and kill some more crawlers before using ranged attacks on the nearest prowler.
3 of 10: Move through the room to find more crawlers and prowlers, then finish off all the crawlers you can in the next room before getting the attention of the three prowlers in the back.
4 of 10: The next two rooms only have swarms of crawlers, but the room after that has three prowlers in addition to crawlers, and the one after that has a shadowbeast in it. When fighting the shadowbeast, try to stay close so as to discourage it from using its powerful charge attack.
5 of 10: Move on past the shadowbeast's room to come to an exit to the jungle. Be careful not to fall down to the ground below while making your way across a rocky bridge.
6 of 10: Follow the path past the bridge to reach a group of scavengers, then keep going to get to a plateau where several mages are hanging around a statue. You can talk to Hathon to get some info and an optional quest, or you can just continue down the path without talking to him.
7 of 10: When you get near the beach, turn left and stay next to the rocky wall as you make your way NE. That'll let you avoid all the sea sludges and undead paladins and such that are all along the beach area.
8 of 10: While avoiding them, you'll come across two small packs of razor beasts, followed by three or so bone hornets, followed by several prowlers and bone hornets. If you stay as far left (west) as you can, that should be all you encounter on the way to the bridge that's at the north end of the jungle.
9 of 10: If you go east from the start of the bridge and kill or evade the troll, you can get to the outskirts of Setarrif and talk to a trader named Thor, but you can't ever get into Setarrif itself. You can only pass through its region by going through the two Lost Temples.
10 of 10: In the temple area past the bridge, go up the steps and along the walkway to catch up to Dantero. Talk to him to get the next objectives.
