Arcania: Gothic 4 Hints
Unbolt the large chain
1 of 6: Go through the gate, then start timing your way through the constantly-firing fireballs. (You could just make a quick run through and then heal up, but that may not work for lower-health characters.)
2 of 6: The first thing to do is run over next to the second pillar on the left side of the corridor. Time your run so the first fireball trap won't hit you.
3 of 6: Quicksave if you make it uninjured, then run across to the third pillar on the other side of the corridor. You'll need to move right up next to it to have a safe spot to stand in.
4 of 6: Wait to be sure you're not going to be hit by a fireball, then quicksave before making the run across to the fourth pillar on the other side.
5 of 6: Keep zig-zagging your way across the corridor like that until you make it to the other end.
6 of 6: Go up the steps past the corridor to find the lever that you need to use. Doing so will finish this quest and start "Blood Before Me."
