Arcania: Gothic 4 Hints

Slay the Beliar cultists (0/16)

  • 1 of 7: Go past the dropped forcefield to find your first two cultist victims. Note that all cultists can throw spells at you, and should therefore always be engaged at maximum distance so you can dodge their fire.
  • 2 of 7: Past that room and up some stairs is a group of four cultists. Being spellcasters, they won't be too keen on chasing you, so try firing at them from the top of the stairs, then retreating halfway down the stairs for cover.
  • 3 of 7: There are three more cultists past the next set of stairs, so do them the same way.
  • 4 of 7: After they're down, move along until you find a cultist in the hallway ahead, plus another one in a side area. Kill the one in the hallway first, then get the one in the side area.
  • 5 of 7: In the next room, go up the stairs to find a cultist next to a magical forcefield. There are five other cultists up there, so you'll want to frequently retreat back down the stairs to avoid their fire while attacking the nearest cultist.
  • 6 of 7: After you kill him, start targeting the next-nearest cultist. Hopefully, he'll run over to the top of the stairs and make things easy for you. Once he's down, go after the other cultists. (Note that they probably won't all be aware of you at first, making it much easier.)
  • 7 of 7: After you kill the last one, this quest will end and you'll get the "The Sleeper Amulet" quest.
