Arcania: Gothic 4 Hints

Xesha

  • 1 of 7: NOTE: This quest only has the one objective "Kill Xesha!," so no objective list will be given.

    As soon as the battle begins, run over to where you're near one of the magical forcefields that block access to the staircases.
  • 2 of 7: Xesha will frequently teleport to a spot at the top of the stairs and fire magic spells at you. If you're near one of the forcefields, her spells will hit it instead of you.
  • 3 of 7: Be ready to hit her with your most damaging attacks when she appears near you. She never sticks around for long, whether you hit her or not.
  • 4 of 7: She'll frequently summon a golem and several skeletons to help her. She'll also often make spike clusters erupt from the ground under you, so keep moving to try to dodge those.
  • 5 of 7: This is all a *tremendous* pain, especially if the game's frame rate on your computer is low. You'll need to focus mostly on dodging spike clusters and killing off golems and undead, and will hardly ever get a chance to attack Xesha -- especially if you're a melee-oriented character.
  • 6 of 7: If you're a powerful mage, you'll have a much easier time. Hit Xesha with inferno spells (or whatever your most powerful spell is) while she's up on the stairs, since that's where she stays still the longest. Doing that a few times should finish her off.
  • 7 of 7: If you can survive that tedious twitchfest long enough to kill Xesha, you'll be rewarded with the ending cinematic and end credits.
