Arcania: Gothic 4 Hints
How can I get through the first Lost Temple?
1 of 9: Go up the stairs in the first room to reach the second room, where a minecrawler worker will attack you. It has very powerful melee attacks, so try to keep your distance while fighting it.
2 of 9: Head down the west-side passage from that room to reach one with a minecrawler worker and several cave crawlers. After finishing them off, go to the next room and use retreat-and-fire tactics on its two minecrawler workers.
3 of 9: You'll only encounter cave crawlers past that until you reach the room with a minecrawler soldier. Fight him like you did the workers, but note that he can take more damage before dying.
4 of 9: Go down the cobwebby cave tunnel that starts in the soldier's room and watch for a minecrawler worker ahead. You'll want to lure him to you with ranged attacks before the nearby minecrawler soldier sees you.
5 of 9: After you kill them both, take the west passage to find two more minecrawler workers, then go past them to find another minecrawler soldier.
6 of 9: After you exit the passage to a large cave room, watch out for a minecrawler soldier and two workers in the west part of the room. You'll probably need to retreat back down the passage for maneuvering room.
7 of 9: The next room has a minecrawler soldier and a path split. Go north to reach a room with two more minecrawler soldiers, then continue north to find the minecrawler queen.
8 of 9: She's protected by two workers, so use ranged attacks to lure them off one at a time so you can fight the queen by herself. She has no special abilities (except that she seems to be extra hard to hit with melee attacks), so just treat her like a souped-up minecrawler soldier.
9 of 9: North of the queen are two exits that lead outside. The eastern exit leads to a sheer cliff, so take the northern exit.
