Arcania: Gothic 4 Hints
Kill three deer (0/3)
1 of 7: Notice that your melee weapon is hotkeyed in slot 1, and your new bow is hotkeyed in slot 2. That lets you use the 1 and 2 keys to quickly switch between them.
2 of 7: Equip the bow, then go up the stairs to the platform at the top. Grab the Alma's Best elixir, then look around to see if you can spot some deer.
3 of 7: You could try to shoot the deer from on the platform, but unless they're fairly close, that won't work very well. Instead, go back down to the ground and get closer to the deer.
4 of 7: As you do, you'll probably be spotted by a couple of goblins. You have plenty of arrows, and can get more from Ivy if you run low, so use the retreat-and-fire strategy to kill both goblins with your bow.
5 of 7: Edge over toward the nearest deer, being careful not to scare him off. Hold down the Attack key until the bow is fully drawn, then take careful aim at the deer and let the arrow fly.
6 of 7: Hitting a deer with a full-power shot should score you a one-shot kill. Note that the deer's antler is automatically gathered, so you don't have to go loot the body to get it.
7 of 7: After you kill three of the deer, your objective will update, but you can go ahead and kill some more if you want to.
