How can I work for the Pollock Gang?
1 of 14: Talk to the gnome sitting at the table in the bar right next to where you come in.
2 of 14: He'll tell you to go talk to Miranda Tears, who's by the bar.
3 of 14: Talk to her, and ask to join Pollock.
4 of 14: She'll assign you to go get some ale from the Maug Warehouse.
5 of 14: The warehouse is to the east a ways, and a little bit north. It's NOT the really big building all the way to the north.
6 of 14: The warehouse is guarded by two of Maug's men, but they're fairly easy.
7 of 14: They both have keys to get into the warehouse, so take one and go in. Take the ale from the warehouse, and bring it back to Miranda.
8 of 14: She'll direct you to go to Pollock for your next job. So go to the opposite end of the Boil, and find Pollock.
9 of 14: He's in the area with the many, many henchmen standing around. Just talk to the Ogre by the door to be let in.
10 of 14: Pollock will want you to go kill Damian Maug, who lives in the large building all the way on the other side of The Boil. He'll give you some scrolls if you're a magic user, and a weapon if you're a tech.
11 of 14: In the building, you'll have to kill about 10 level-30 orc berserkers to get to Maug.
12 of 14: Fortunately, they're spread out so you never fight more than one or two at a time.
13 of 14: Maug is in the final room of the building -- he's level 40 but has no weapon, so he's easy to kill.
14 of 14: Once he's dead go back to Pollock for your reward.
