Franklin Payne
You find Payne in Black Root much later in the game. He'll join you at level 35, but he really isn't that great a companion; his skills are spread out, so that he has one schematic from every tech college, which isn't that useful when you get him. Still, he's a good ranged fighter and can be good backup if you have space in your group.
