How can I join up with him?
1 of 2: If you want to join him, you'll have to kill all the other exiles in the void, which isn't terribly hard. Just go to the areas where they are and attack them. The Bane of Kree is the only hard one, if he still has his sword.
2 of 2: Once you kill them all, go back to Kerghan for the...unhappy ending.
