Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura Hints

Bow: Kietzel Pierce

  • 1 of 8: You'll actually meet Pierce fairly early in the game, in Black Root, where he'll give you a quest.
  • 2 of 8: Once you talk to him there, he'll leave and go to Caladon, which you won't reach until late game.
  • 3 of 8: When you do get there, he can be found in the large inn right next to the bridge you cross to get into the city.
  • 4 of 8: When you talk to him, he'll send you on a quest to get a bow from a place called the Ruins of Szabow.
  • 5 of 8: The ruins are pretty much just a small maze, in which you have to shoot torches at seeming dead ends to continue.
  • 6 of 8: Most of the time, there's just one torch, but in the last room you come to, there's three. Just shoot the one on the right to continue.
  • 7 of 8: When you get the bow, bring it back to Pierce for training.
  • 8 of 8: If you didn't get the bow or want to keep it, tell Pierce you couldn't find the bow, and he'll train you for 2,000 gold.
