Armed & Delirious Hints
What is at the other end of that rotating exhaust pipe?
of 22: An "electrified room" {BPR}.
of 22: Try getting through the laser beams.
of 22: Serves Granny right!
of 22: Try going through the open entrance.
of 22: The same!
of 22: On the wall (left center screen) are three brightly colored knobs or whatever.
of 22: Pull them.
of 22: The two outside red ones are of no assistance.
of 22: The middle fawn knob pops out onto the floor.
of 22: Looks like a sort of stepping stone.
of 22: Step on it through the entrance. Granny has advanced onto a circuit-board floor ... transistors, diodes, integrated circuits attached.
of 22: NO THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR COMPUTER ... OR THE GAME -- THE ELECTRIC FIELD HAS MADE GRANNY *INVISIBLE*! She's there all right (and as usual doesn't stop talking), but nobody can see her!
of 22: There's a window exit there (with expanding circles).
of 22: Use it and Granny gets "fried".
of 22: She'll have to find a more sophisticated way to exit.
of 22: Look at all the components. In particular, scrutinize the three pairs of diodes (or vacuum tubes or whatever) near the bottom right corner of the screen. Also the pair of wire endings close to the top right corner of the window.
of 22: Touch the diodes.
of 22: Only the middle pair seem "active". When you click on them, a rod descends from the ceiling.
of 22: But not for long -- so you've got to be fairly quick.
of 22: ~Whilst the rod is down~, click on the pair of wire endings. You may have to do this more than once.
of 22: The spiraling circles disappear and a view takes their place.
of 22: Granny can now exit the window safely ... and into the landscape.
