Armed & Delirious Hints
This game is REALLY zany!
This is a ~really~ wacky game. Not without reason was it previously called "Dementia" ("Armed & Delirious" in America). None of the rules of science or reality exist. It has been described as being a game in which "The only logic is illogical -- You have to play it to disbelieve it!" .
There is a huge number of locations to visit and characters to meet. It would be almost impossible to include even half of all the cutscenes, clips, actions, wisecracks (some a bit off-color), etc., in this Hint File. Hence, generally only the essential actions to complete the whole game are included below, but some of the most piquant "extras" have been added here and there.
But any player who restricts himself/herself exclusively to the actions outlined below will be missing well over half the fun, to say nothing of the (manic) gameplay, available.
There seems to be an almost total lack of logic or "direction". In addition, you have to visit many extremely weirdo Worlds and Sub-Worlds, etc. -- often many times. This involves a great amount of disk-swapping.
So ... ~SAVE OFTEN~. (There is no limit to the number of games you can save!).
The good news is that you can auto-start from any of the five CD's and do not have to load CD 1. In addition, when you do have to exchange disks the hassle is made a bit easier than usual ... each CD is color coded (as well as boldly numbered of course) to conform with its illustration on screen.
The VERY good news is that you ~NEVER~ get killed (or its equivalent) in this game!
