Art of Murder: FBI Confidential Hints

How can I move the outer crate?

  • 1 of 16: The key to solving this puzzle is first to notice that there is a hotspot entitled "gap between crates."
  • 2 of 16: You need to expand that gap rather significantly and with a fair amount of force, in order to push the crate out of the way.
  • 3 of 16: It's quite a strange solution when you think about it, but it certainly does make sense.
  • 4 of 16: I will give you quite an odd clue, but the solutions to this puzzle all involve the phrase "in case of emergency."
  • 5 of 16: Find an expandable container that is small enough to slip into the gap between the grates.
  • 6 of 16: Then, find a substance that can enter that container with enough shove to move the crate.
  • 7 of 16: The container itself is one that starts small and compact, and is usually filled with air.
  • 8 of 16: You might use to escape a sinking ship "in case of emergency," and it can be found in the back-left area of the storage room.
  • 9 of 16: There's an inflatable dinghy there. Grab it, and insert it into the gap between the crates at the back area of the room.
  • 10 of 16: Now, let's find something powerful to fill it with.
  • 11 of 16: Something else that's designed to be used "in case of emergency."
  • 12 of 16: It's not in the storage room, though.
  • 13 of 16: Head up to the main exhibition hall and take a look at the mummy exhibit. See that fire extinguisher there?
  • 14 of 16: That's the key.
  • 15 of 16: Use it with the dinghy to fill it with air.
  • 16 of 16: This will rapidly inflate the dinghy and send the front crate out of the way.
