Art of Murder: FBI Confidential Hints

How can I get James' mobile phone up and running again?

  • 1 of 14: In order to fix the phone, you need to understand what's wrong with it.
  • 2 of 14: The problem is that the battery isn't connected to the rest of the handset. So, you're going to need to find an external battery.
  • 3 of 14: Thankfully, there is a whole box of batteries safely concealed in the depths of the storage room.
  • 4 of 14: Grab one (thankfully it's the right voltage).
  • 5 of 14: However, you're going to need to find some cables to connect the battery to the phone.
  • 6 of 14: Thankfully there are plenty of these hanging around the place.
  • 7 of 14: "Hanging around" being the decisive clue.
  • 8 of 14: Check the mezzanine. The upper mezzanine.
  • 9 of 14: See those cables hanging from the ceiling? And see the ladder right next to 'em?
  • 10 of 14: Use the ladder to reach the cables, and try to take them.
  • 11 of 14: Looks like we're going to need a tool to cut them down.
  • 12 of 14: Use the scissors on the hanging cables then use those on the desk in your office.
  • 13 of 14: Attach the battery, then the phone.
  • 14 of 14: This will get it up and running, but unfortunately you're going to need to find James' PIN number to get into the phone.
