How can I open the hatch to the backstage area?

• 1 of 14: You're going to need to break the padlock on it first.
• 2 of 14: The easiest way to do that will just be to pry the lock open using natural leverage.
• 3 of 14: Find something large and stick-like to do so.
• 4 of 14: There's a metal pipe not far away, on the pile of sand. Grab it and use it with the padlock to break it open.
• 5 of 14: Seems Nicole isn't quite strong enough to open the hatch, unfortunately.
• 6 of 14: Let's use another basic scientific principle to get it open.
• 7 of 14: See that hook on the wall? We're going to use that, along with a cog of sorts, along with a counter-weight, to pull the hatch open.
• 8 of 14: First, take the leaky bucket, and plug the hole in it so we can make use of it as a counter-weight.
  • How can I fill the hole in the bucket?
• 9 of 14: Now fill the bucket with water at the little tap station at the left of the area near the door and hatch.
• 10 of 14: Now, take the broken wheelbarrow's wheel rim and use it with the hook.
• 11 of 14: All that's missing is a rope or something similar to tie to the hatch and run around the wheel.
• 12 of 14: Use the canvas tape, which you can find outside the theater entrance.
• 13 of 14: Tie the tape to the hatch, run it over the hook, then attach the bucket of water.
• 14 of 14: Now just push down on the bucket of water, and voila! Open hatch!
