1 of 4: You just need to find a tool to clamp down on it from two sides and crush it.
2 of 4: The tool is actually something you would normally use to attach pieces of paper together.
3 of 4: There's a stapler in the drawer of the desk in the rehearsal room.
4 of 4: Use the stapler with the pencil to break it.
