How can I create a diversion to escape from the police escort?
1 of 8: You're going to need more than a diversion -- you're going to need to wreck his police car so that he won't be able to chase after you when you take off in your rental car.
2 of 8: To do so, we're going to plug his exhaust.
3 of 8: Take a look at the layout of the street out front of the hotel and see if you can see a plan formulating.
4 of 8: The rear exit of the hotel would give you a fairly easy path to sneak over to the car and screw around with the exhaust.
5 of 8: So, we're going to need to get the key to the rear exit of the hotel. Unfortunately, Pierre won't let us have it. Let's steal it instead.
6 of 8: Once you have the key (and the other items mentioned in that hint -- the kerchief and cork), you will need to distract the police officer, to turn him around.
7 of 8: To do this, let's appease his poor stomach.
