Where can I find the Shield of the Ancients?
1 of 7: Alia doesn't reveal the exact location of the shield, but she does mention that it was buried long ago with the remains of a fallen warrior. Try looking in a place where the dead are buried.
2 of 7: You'll find the shield in the Crypt in the City of Arx. The door to the Crypt is locked and requires a key.
3 of 7: Did you notice the sign on the front of the Crypt?
4 of 7: The sign is an order from Carlo, captain of the guards, discouraging the residents of Arx from entering the Crypt. Speak with Carlo near the guardhouse and he will give you the key.
5 of 7: You'll be faced with many traps and puzzles in the Crypt. For help with these puzzles, see the following section:
6 of 7: On level 3 of the Crypt, you'll encounter the ghost of Gladivir, keeper of the shield. To wrest the shield from him, you'll need to solve his riddles.
